Major shows are requiring Quality Counts Verification to enter in All Major Shows: Houston, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Austin, San Angelo etc.
If you plan on entering in a Major Show you must go to http://qualitycounts.tamu.edu/ access the on line teaching system "Texas Trails". This will take 2 hours to complete and can be done at more than one sitting. Go to Verifications (tab at the top of the Quality Counts page) scroll down to the bottom "Take The Test" . After you have completed the test it will give you a verification number.

You must have your verification number at the time of entry. Major Shows require to have this number to enter.

Exhibitors only need to be verified once as a junior and once again as a senior. Junior is 8 and in the 3rd grade through 13 years of age as of the previous August 31st. Senior is 14 years or older as of the previous August 31st.

Quality Counts Verification will be needed for all Junior Livestock Show entries at Major shows including breeding animals.
