Market Show Goat Clinic August 23

As mentioned earlier, the Texas Agrilife Extension Service - Caldwell County, is pleased to announce that our 2012 Show Goat Selection Speaker is international livestock judge Warren Thigpen. Mr. Thigpen will be bringing his many years of expertise in market goats to Caldwell County on August 23, 2012 at 6:30pm at the Caldwell County showbarn. The emphasis of this workshop will be for 4-H goat exhibitors to learn evaluation methods of market and breeding goats to help them know how to pick a champion. We are looking forward to seeing you there, please feel free to come with any questions you may have! This will also be a hands on workshop, and participants will get first hand experience in judging market and breeding goats.
