Bastrop County has allowed us to attend their youth
horticulture tour!
4-H Horticulture Tour - October 10.
We’re headed to Kitchen Pride Mushroom Farm in Gonzales,
please contact Ronda at the office to RSVP (rlehman@ag.tamu.edu).
Space is limited to 9 people (including adults). We will eat lunch in
Gonzales after the tour. It will be fun and a great educational
opportunity (great for recordbooks)! I will try to obtain the county van
that day, if I can, we will all fit and can ride together. More details
closer to the tour date.
Luling ISD is out this day, however, Lockhart and Prairie
Lea are not. This is ideal for youth attending Luling ISD or are
home-schooled. We will not write excused absence notes for Lockhart
or Prairie Lea. This was a tour planned by Bastrop County,
all their schools are out that day.
The pick-ups will be as
follows:
Lockhart 7:45 AM – meet in the parking lot behind the
extension office
Luling 8:10 AM - meet at the parking lot across from
City Market and Blake’s
