October Reminders

Oct 5 – Deadline for Major Show Broiler orders due in the office by 4:00 p.m.

Oct 5 – RSVP for 4-H Horticulture Tour October 10^th limited seating.  Luling ISD has a Student Holiday Oct 10^th . Lockhart & Prairie Lea will not have a excused absence for this event.

OCT 6 – Robotics meeting 5:30 p.m. – Scott Annex Conference room.  Parents this will be a meeting to discuss what will be needed to start this project.

OCT 8 – One – Day 4-H

OCT 12 – Deadline for  Fort Worth Calf Scramble and San Antonio Calf Scramble.

Oct 15 – Luling Stockshow Registration/Validation 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. – across the Street from the Thump Pavilion look for Signs.

OCT 18 – Major Show Lamb & Goat Validation at the County Show barn.     CCJLS validation is Sat. Nov. 19^th.

Oct 18 -  Major Show Heifer Validation

Oct 24 – Caldwell 4-H Council –  Extension Lobby 7:00 p.m.

Oct 26 – Deadline Fort Worth Livestock Show entries by 4:00 p.m.  You must be on 4-H Connect as a 2016-2017 member to be eligible to enter.  You must also have a quality counts number. 

OCT 31 – Last day to register on 4-H Connect for $20.00.  Price goes up to $25.00 on Nov 1^st.   You must  re-enroll in 4-H every 4-H year.

 There will be a County Roundup in October.  More information will be posted later.
